We are in Iowa, and in tact. At least for now. We like it here. There is a lot of corn and a lot of rolling green hills, and surprisingly a lot of trees!
The apartment is great. It has two bathrooms, a dishwasher, and a broken garbage disposal. It’s great. It also has a set of sliding doors leading out to a little slab of cement I suppose we can call a porch. There is also a lot of green grass and some trees for shade out there for the girls and I to play. We truly are blessed here in Iowa.
The other day Sophia and I had this brief conversation:
After seeing a little something on Sophia’s cheek I say “Sophia, what’s on your face?”
And without a moment of hesitation she says while walking out of the room “My nose.”
HA! Children are such a joy!
