I have already complained two other places online but it wouldn’t feel right if I didn’t do it here too. My heart sewing machine is broken. It is a sad day in the Hensley household.

That’s right, I said update. It seems that I have been yet again thrown off track. Not in a bad way. My mom came for a two week visit and I was busy with her. What can I say, the woman loves to shop and I was busy exploring ALL the deals Iowa had to offer. In her defense, though, she didn’t shop nearly as much as other trips to see us as I didn’t have to sit on her bag to close it this time ;) . We have also been nursing Ellie back to health. She was sick for about 5 days with some kind of stomach bug. As soon as she got to feeling better Zac started feeling sick. Now Sophia is sick in our bed. All this and we are getting ready to move in less than two weeks. And to complicate matters even more I am getting two wisdom teeth out on Friday. I work best under pressure (and hopefully pain, too).

Zac is finally done with school and all his teaching duties. w00t. Now to start the next chapter of our lives – law school. It is going to be a bit of a shock to our systems as this semester has been relatively easy. I am praying, though, that He who planned the days ahead will also provide for us the stamina, wisdom, self control, patience, etc. I know that He will provide though, if I am willing. Pray that I would be willing!

We will be packing up the truck next Thursday and starting our journey home the next morning. Zac’s blessed mother is flying all the way here to help us me with driving and the girls in the minivan, as Zac will be driving the moving truck. She is a wonderful woman!

Anywho, that is the quick update. I have had many blog post ideas roaming about in my mind and am sad to say I think they have been lost in the abyss. Hopefully once we have moved and gotten settled in I can start to get back into some good old routines, including keeping everyone up-to-date on Hensley happenings.

Here are some pictures that have been requested of the prettiest girls around.

I’m not sure what was up with Ellie – I told her to say cheese and this is what I got.

Here is Sophia playing with a dandelion. I LOVE dandelions had them as a subject for one of my unwritten blog posts. I think they are a special gift God supplies in abundance to little hands to bring little moments of joy. I may sound like a nutcase, but I really believe that. I mean, what little kid doesn’t love blowing on them and watching all the little white thingies flutter away in the breeze?! Call me weird. Go ahead – I won’t hear you.
